This page says what the website collects when you read it or write through the contact form, why, and who handles it. Work under a written agreement is covered by the Terms and that agreement, not by this page.

1. Who this covers
This page covers Kwirita and this website. Kwirita is the practice described in the Terms, working from Manila.
When you become a client, the written agreement covers how your materials and data are handled. The Terms say that the work happens in your own accounts and that what you share stays private. This page is about the website.
2. Words used here
The site is this website, including the functions that run behind its pages. You is anyone who visits the site or writes through it.
3. What the site collects, and how
The contact form
If you write through the contact form, the site asks for your name, email address, and message. Your company or product, how you would like to start, and when you would like to start are optional.
The form also carries three hidden values:
- The page you came from, or the contact page when the site cannot tell. The page fills this in, not you.
- An anti-spam field that stays empty when a person fills in the form.
- The time the page loaded. It stays empty if JavaScript is off.
Your network address
The site reads the network address of your connection when you send a message. It uses the address only to limit spam, by counting recent messages from one connection in the server’s memory. The site does not write the address into the email it sends.
The weather request and local storage
The site colors its pages by the light and weather in Manila. To do that, your browser asks the site’s own weather function for a weather category: clear, clouds, rain, or storm. The function asks MET Norway’s forecast service for the forecast at fixed coordinates in Manila. Your location is not used, and your browser does not talk to MET Norway.
Your browser keeps the category and the time it was fetched in local storage, under the name kwirita-weather.
Hosting records
Like any web host, Vercel receives the requests your browser makes to load the site’s pages and call its functions. What Vercel records about those requests follows Vercel’s own policies.
4. Why the site collects it
The site uses the form’s fields to read your message and reply to you. It uses the hidden values and the network address to tell a person from a script and to limit spam. It uses the weather category to color the page.
5. What happens to a message
The site checks the message. If it passes, the site sends it as one plain-text email to Kwirita through Resend, the email service the site uses. The email holds the fields you filled in and the page you wrote from. Your address is set as the reply-to, so a reply goes to you.
The site does not send you a confirmation email. It shows a confirmation page instead. The site itself keeps no database of messages: it passes the message on as an email through Resend, and the email is held in Kwirita’s inbox.
When a message is dropped as spam, or the email service fails, the site’s logs record that it happened, not what the message said.
6. Who else handles it
- Vercel hosts the site and runs its functions, including the contact form’s and the weather function.
- Resend sends the contact form’s email.
- MET Norway provides the weather forecast. It receives the weather function’s request for Manila, and nothing about you.
- The email provider that hosts Kwirita’s inbox holds each message once it arrives.
Each of these has its own policies, and its own records are governed by them. Kwirita does not control them.
7. What the site does not do
The site’s own code sets no cookies and includes no analytics, advertising, or remarketing script. The site has no accounts, takes no payments, and sends no newsletter.
This describes what the site’s code does. Payments for the work are handled under the written agreement, not on the site.
8. What is kept, and by whom
The site’s own code keeps no copy of a message; any copy held by Resend, or by the email provider that hosts Kwirita’s inbox, is under their own policies and practice.
The network address stays in the server’s memory for the rate limit.
The weather value stays in your browser until you clear it. Resend, Vercel, and MET Norway keep their own records under their own policies.
9. Where Kwirita works
Kwirita works from Manila. The providers in section 6 run their own systems.
10. Security
The form limits the length of each field and checks the email address. It drops submissions that fill the hidden anti-spam field, turns away a message sent only moments after the page loaded, and limits how many messages one connection can send. The site has no account or password to protect.
11. What you can do
You can clear the stored weather value in your browser’s site data settings. The site then asks for the weather again.
Use the Contact page with any question about your message or your data.
12. Links to other sites
The site links to other websites. Their owners decide what those sites collect, and this page does not cover them.
13. Children
The site is written for founders and product teams, not for children. If a message came from a child, write through the Contact page.
14. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes.
15. Contact
Write through the Contact page. Kwirita works from Manila (UTC+8).
