The company
Drivepoint makes strategic-finance software for consumer brands. In June 2023, it described SmartModel v5 as its omnichannel forecasting product, bringing direct-to-consumer, Amazon, wholesale, and retail forecasts into one place with product-level inventory planning.
The work
I consulted with Drivepoint from March 2023 to July 2026, mostly on and off through 2025. I was involved with its web app from its inception, including onboarding and the design system rollout.
For SmartModel v5, I worked mostly on the corresponding functionality and the web app redesign introduced with the update. I redesigned the Excel add-in. In 2026, as the team fully embraced AI in its workflow, I helped build the next web app iteration using AI, building on the founder’s initial design-system scaffold through beta release.
